The 11-4 Minnesota Vikings have already clinched their second straight NFC North title, but they are killing their momentum heading into the postseason with losses in three of their last four games.
The Ravens and the Jets are the only two AFC squads still in the playoff hunt that can secure a Wild Card spot without any help from another team. Win and they are in. Looks easy for Baltimore considering that it gets to play a 5-10 Oakland team that already has offseason vacation plans.
The Broncos need a win on their own field against weak Chiefs team in order to be alive for the post-season. They also need some others results to qualify to playoffs, but there is no doubt they will give their best. ..
With one game left, New York Jets(8-7), are still trying to do some damage, after beating a powerhouse team like the Colts. Now they host the A.F.C.
The rivalry between Manchester United and Leeds United goes a long way but this FA Cup tie will be the first match between the two teams after almost six years. Never mind the fact that Leeds are now a League One side, we still expect to see a very intense affair and this should be the most interesting clash of the FA Cup 3rd round. United successfully overcame the injury crisis After staying without Ronaldo and Tevez, United were not expected to be serious title contenders this season but even though they had some problems at the start of the league campaign, Alex Ferguson’s men have overcome all their problems and are still very much in the title race
West Ham are set to play their third London derby in just two weeks when they host high-flying Arsenal at Upton Park in the FA Cup 3rd round tie. This match will serve Arsene Wenger as a good opportunity to give his youngsters more playing time but that certainly don’t mean the Hammers will have an easy job in this match. Busy schedule taking its toll on the Hammers The Hammers have shown a lot of improvement lately, having notched up few good results in the past few weeks but they couldn’t get anything from the Tottenham game on Monday
This game will be a welcoming break for Middlesbrough from their disappointing league campaign, as well as the opportunity for Gordon Strachan to test a couple of fringe players. Manchester City, on the other hand, recorded two wins under Roberto Mancini and seeing the boss will be forced to field a strong side, we see them as favourites in this match
Aston Villa slipped from the fourth place in the Premiership after losing to Arsenal and Liverpool and they need to win this game in order to boost their spirits before the Premier League resumes. Blackburn salvaged a draw at home against Sunderland and seeing they are still fighting for their lives in the league, we don’t think the Rovers will put too much emphasis on the FA Cup.
After losing at home to Real Madrid, Valencia managed to take a point in a goalless draw against Deportivo.
This has been an utterly disappointing season for Reading and not even the win over Liverpool would change that.
